Independent Care

Located Within The Medical Center of Southeast Texas

Stonewood Hospice Inpatient Unit is located inside The Medical Center of Southeast Texas for the convenience of patients, families, and care partners. However, our inpatient hospice unit is independently operated by Stonewood Hospice.

Our care is provided by Stonewood's own specialized hospice team — including our clinical staff, care professionals, and support team. While we are grateful to have a peaceful space within the medical center, Stonewood Hospice is not owned, operated, or staffed by The Medical Center of Southeast Texas.

This allows our team to provide the same compassionate, comfort-focused care families expect from Stonewood — with the added support of a private inpatient setting when a higher level of hospice care is needed.
